Generally Monday thru Friday – on call 24/7

Spill Response activities

Job Description:
|
Tend to daily operations aboard 110’ / 99 GRT Oil
Spill Response Vessel. Responsible for maintenance and documentation of
all vessel systems and spill response equipment stowed aboard vessel and
ashore in nearby contractor yard. Manage contract crew during spills,
drills and training events. Interface with local client, regulators and
contractors.

Travel Requirement:
|
Travel to other locations at direction of company to participate in
Spills, Training and Drill activities. Job may require travel to foreign
locations.
|
|
|
Pay rate:
|
$45,000 to $50,000 per year plus benefits and 401k plan depending
upon license and prior experience
|
|
|
Spill Pay:
|
$150 per day while engaged in Response activities
|
|
|
Clothing Allowance:
|
Company supplied coveralls and Logo wear. Steel toe boot allowance.
|
|
|
Vacation:
|
10 days, 2 weeks, after completion of 1 year service, accrue
additional one day vacation per year of service to a maximum of 20 days,
4 weeks, paid vacation at 10 years
|
|
|
Education Allowance:
|
Paid STCW, GMDSS and license up-grade courses. Higher education
paid with B or better average.
