Location: Houston, TX Client Service Manager (GOM) – National Response Corporation (NRC), a leader in oil spill response services to the oil industry, is looking for a Client Services Manager for its Houston, TX office. This position services the needs of NRC’s Gulf of Mexico clients, with emphasis on the Exploration and Production (E & P) sector and other oil industry clientele. Duties include functioning as the primary client liaison supporting customers during spills, exercise & training activities, developing proposals, making presentations, marketing demonstrations and events such as industry conferences and local agency meetings. The CSM is expected to expanded business opportunities and develop new retainer business.
Ideal candidate will be familiar with the E & P market sector and the oil spill response business, have knowledge of industry regulations (MMS, DOT, EPA, and USCG), which regulate oil spill response and have a solid working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS). Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, be a self-starter with good communications and writing skills and be willing to travel. Previous sales experience is helpful. Tend
to daily operations aboard 110’ / 99 GRT Oil Spill Response Vessel. Responsible for
maintenance and documentation of all vessel systems and spill
response equipment stowed aboard vessel and ashore in nearby
contractor yard. Manage contract crew during spills, drills and
training events. Interface with local client, regulators and
contractors. |
